Returning Player Registration 2024-2025

Returning Player registration will commence June 1st, 2025.

 


2024/25  REGISTRATION:

  • “Returning Player” will be defined as a player who was registered with AMHA in the immediate preceding season. This includes players considered “Return to Home Association” by PCAHA,  BC Hockey.
  • Payment options--Please note, AMHA only accepts e-transfers or credit cards.
  • IMPORTANT: "Per Hockey Canada's Non-Sanctioned League Policy, any individual who is found to have participated in a non-sanctioned game after the cut-off date of September 30th of the given year, will not be eligible for any BC Hockey sanctioned programs, including any further participation with Aldergrove Minor Hockey Association (AMHA), for the remainder of the current season. Players found to be in violation of the Non-Sanctioned League Policy will not be eligible for a refund of their registration, or any other fees tendered to AMHA for the given season."

3rd & Subsequent Players

Is your player trying out for a Junior B, Zone or sanctioned Academy team? You can now pay a $50 non–refundable hold fee. What will this hold fee do? If your player is released from the above minor program after AMHA has completed the tryout process, they will be given 3 ice times to be evaluated by the coach and a placement in the association will be assessed. Please contact the registrar for the link to register for the hold fee.


Refund schedule is as follows:

All applications for refunds, withdrawals or transfers must be made in writing and submitted to the Aldergrove Minor Hockey registrar. Refunds will be processed on the following basis:

1. 100% refund, less $50 admin fee, for players withdrawing on or before August 31st.
2. 75% refunds for players withdrawing between September 1st and September 30th.
3. 50% refunds for players withdrawing between October 1st and November 1st.
4. 25% refunds for players withdrawing between November 2nd and November 30th.
5. There will be no refunds after November 30th. Refunds due to injury after November 30th will be considered by the AMHA Executive provided it has been deemed a season ending injury.

● There will be no refunds for “rep tryout” fees.
● There will be no refunds for “rep carding ” fees.
● There will be no refunds on “late” fees.
● If you paid by credit card, your credit card will be refunded. If you paid by e-transfer, you will be refunded by e-transfer within 10 business days of the approval of refund.
● The date the written application was received by the registrar will be the date used to determine the refund amount; there are no exceptions to this.

 


Returning Player Registration Information:

 

  1. As of June 1st registration will open for all returning players (must have played in AMHA for the 2023-2024 season).

 

  1. Use the same email/password as you used to log into your TeamSnap team account in the past.  If you do not have a TeamSnap login you will be prompted to set one up.

 

  1. You will be required to have your players Hockey Canada ID number.  You will find this on your past registration receipts.  If you cannot find this information please contact the registrar.

 

  1. Follow the steps to complete the registration.  Please note you can complete registration for more than one child. You can add participants when requested.

 

  1. Should you have any questions hover over the blue question mark and the answer should be there. If you require further information please contact the registrar.

 

  1. Review and complete your registration.

 

  1. Please note that returning players MAY be requested to submit their Proof of Residency for any given reason.  If required to submit for any reason following completion of your registration, you will be notified.  Please see new player registration information for acceptable proof of residency documents.

 

  1. Payment can be done online via credit card or e-transfer.  A 2.79% +$0.99 processing fee will automatically be charged for credit card payments at time of payment.

 

  1. If you wish to pay by e-transfer or are applying for financial assistance, please select the pay offline option. E-transfers must be sent to registrar@aldergroveminorhockey.com. You must include the name(s) of the players in the memo section.  Please ensure that the password to the E-transfer is hockey.

 

  1. If you are registering 3 or more players the additional player(s) discount will automatically be applied at the time of checkout

 

  1. Registration must be complete by July 1st or a late fee of $50 will be charged.

General Registration Information:

Reminder – a player’s fees must be paid IN FULL before they will be permitted to step on the ice (including conditioning camps and/or rep try-outs)

 

  1. Rep try-out fees are $150 this season. The DEADLINE to register for rep try-outs is August 20th, 2024. If you have not registered by August 20th you will NOT be eligible to try out for a rep team. Additionally the rep tryout fee is non-refundable.

 

  1. All members are required to volunteer for a least one position or committee.  These opportunities will be available during the season; including but not limited to the tournaments hosted by AMHA for each division.
